“I am an amateur runner from Poland. I began working with Adam in July 2022. Since then, my running has taken on a more professional and organised approach. My training plan now includes interval training, strides, hill repeats, long runs and other structured running activities. The proportions of exercises follow the guidelines with an 80% focus on low-intensity work and 20% on high-intensity sessions. Adam’s plans always consider my time availability, travels, and, most importantly, my upcoming race schedule. This ensures that I reach peak performance when I need it most.
I greatly appreciate Adam’s practical and responsible approach to coaching, emphasising the importance of proper rest, recovery, and strength training. I benefit from an interactive form of collaboration with Adam, as each workout comes with a detailed written explanation, and after the session, I receive feedback and further guidance. We also arrange online video meetings to summarise past periods or plan for upcoming ones.
I frequently consult with Adam about races in Europe and worldwide, drawing on his vast experience. Before competitions, I always have the opportunity to discuss my race strategy, nutrition plan, and gear selection. Before starting collaborating with the coach, my fitness level allowed me to participate in 10km races. Thanks to Adam’s training plan, in 2023 and 2024, I completed several races covering distances up to 74km. For 2025, we are planning my participation in races of 100km and beyond.
I highly recommend working with coach Adam to anyone who finds joy in running and is looking for a balanced training plan that harmonises with both their personal and professional life.”

“I cannot express how transformative my experience has been with Adam as my running coach. From my very first planned session, it was clear that his dedication to coaching and enthusiasm was unparalleled. Adam’s advice and guidance helped me improve my technique and endurance considerably.
His personalised training plans were tailored to my specific goals, and his encouragement pushed me beyond my limits. Each planned session was not just a workout; it was an education too.
Thanks to Adam, I completed my first 100 mile Ultra Trail, The Arc of Attrition in 2023. I crossed the finish line with a sense of achievement and emotion I’ll never forget.
I highly recommend Lucas Coaching to anyone looking to elevate their running skills, whether a beginner or a seasoned runner. You won’t just become a better runner; you’ll gain a supportive mentor and a friend."

“I contacted Adam around 6 months before my first Ultra, the Centurion North Downs Way 50. Up until this point I had enjoyed casual trail running, but had no idea how to prepare for a race like this. After an initial discovery call, we were good to go.
The training plans provided gave me much needed consistency and with this my fitness grew to a new level. We started building up the mileage each week including varied training blocks and soon I was ready to enter a 50k warm up race. So this actually became my first Ultra. I successfully completed this and actually managed to position in the top 20. A result I was incredibly happy with.
Fast forward several weeks and the big day arrived. The race could not have gone any better. Both the pacing and nutrition strategies went to plan. I even saw Adam on the course, cheering some of us on.
Feeling high after this race, I decided to enter a local trail marathon at the Devils Punch Bowl. A tricky route with lots of elevation and long stretches of sand to run along. Adam changed up the plan and introduced some faster paced sessions to tune up the leg speed. Once again everything went well on race day and I performed better than I could ever have imagined, finishing 2nd overall. A result I am very proud of.
I can’t thank Adam enough as not only did he provide me with the necessary training plans, but he was always happy to answer questions, discuss any issues that I may have which proved to be so useful and certainly helped me achieve my running goals.”
